Lesley Jantarasami

Lesley Jantarasami currently serves as Vice President of Research and Industry Strategy at the Smart Electric Power Alliance, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this role, Jantarasami was with the Bipartisan Policy Center from November 2019 to March 2025, holding various leadership positions focused on federal policy efforts related to deep decarbonization and clean energy standards. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Climate Policy Analyst at the Oregon Department of Energy, where Jantarasami led climate change initiatives, and as a Climate Science and Policy Analyst at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, contributing to regulatory development for greenhouse gas emissions. Jantarasami's background also encompasses work at the U.S. Department of State and various research roles, supported by degrees from Duke University and the University of Washington, including a Master of Science in Environmental and Forest Sciences and a Master of Public Administration.
