Rachel Bryant

Rachel Bryant currently serves as Deputy Editor for Public Utilities Fortnightly at Smart Electric Power Alliance, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, Rachel held the title of Sr. Director of Regulatory & Policy Business Development at GridX, Inc. from February 2023 to August 2025, and operated as a Principal Consultant at PA Consulting between September 2020 and February 2023. Rachel's legal expertise includes serving as an Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at both the Western Area Power Administration and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and Rachel began the career path as a Legal Intern at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. Earlier professional experiences include roles as a Graduate Engineer at AECOM and a Corporate Environmental Coordinator at MMI Products, Inc. Rachel possesses a BS in Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a JD in Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
