SECC Research Committee Member at Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative

Monica Pagnotta serves as the Senior Program Manager of Customer Insights and Behavioral Science at ICF, delivering research on Customer Insights, Equity, and Inclusion to inform utility client strategies related to demand-side management and electrification initiatives. Other experience includes a role as Program Manager at ICF, managing research teams applying behavioral insights for energy programs, and serving as a Research Committee Member with the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative. Monica has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver and held various consulting positions at Guidehouse and Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc., focusing on program design, implementation, and proposal development in the energy sector. Involvement in sustainability initiatives includes roles with the U.S. Green Building Council and the Sustainability Alliance at the University of Denver. Monica holds a Master's degree in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Studies from Wheaton College, Massachusetts.
