Detlef Wilke

Detlef Wilke currently serves as Vice President of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships and Vice President of Automotive Solutions at Smart Eye since July 2021, leading the Automotive Solutions division. Prior to this, Detlef worked at Aptiv from December 2017 to June 2021 as Lead Solution Architect and Technischer Manager, focusing on Interior Sensing Systems, ADAS, and business development, while also chairing the CLEPA Mirror Group for NCAP Occupant Status Monitoring. Detlef's experience at Delphi from 2010 to December 2017 included roles as Technischer Manager and Lead Engineer Telematics, primarily dealing with driver camera systems and telematics solutions. Earlier work at Fuba Automotive Electronics involved project management for RF systems, and Detlef's foundational education in electrotechnics and embedded microelectronics was completed at Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven and Steiner Messtechnik, where development of embedded measurement systems was a key focus.
