Pascal Bénard

Pascal Bénard has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Smart Global Governance starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2023, they worked at Doctolib as the Head of Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance. In this role, they achieved several milestones such as leading the certification projects for ISO 27001 and ISO 27701, defining risk management frameworks, and collaborating with different departments for data protection.

Before joining Doctolib, Pascal worked as a Professional Photographer at Pascal Bénard Photographies from 2014 to 2020. Pascal also has experience in the cybersecurity field, serving as an RSA Archer & Senior Cyber Security Consultant at GRC Tools from 2018 to 2020, and as an RSA Archer Consultant and Lead for RSA Archer offering at Sopra Steria from 2016 to 2018.

Additionally, Pascal worked as a Security Manager at Advens from 2014 to 2016, overseeing Pre-Sales and Project Delivery for SecOps programs. Pascal also held positions at EMC as a Senior Solutions Principal from 2011 to 2014, at Capgemini as a Practice Leader "Risk Management" from 2009 to 2011, and at Orange Business Services as a Senior Security Consultant from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, Pascal started their career as a Principal Security Architect at Capgemini from 2002 to 2007.

Pascal Bénard obtained a Post Master Degree in Computer Science (network, systems, database) from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in the year 1992-1993. Prior to that, they also completed a Master of Engineering in Computer Science (System, Network and Database) from the same university in the year 1991-1992. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in March 2008, and the RSA Archer Certified Associate and RSA Archer Certified Professional certifications from RSA Security in the year 2019.
