Ahmed Barakat

Ahmed Barakat is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and piping engineering within the power sector. Currently serving as Solar Construction Manager and previously as Deputy Construction Manager at SMART GROUP since June 2023, Ahmed has held prominent positions such as Senior Mechanical Engineer at AC BOILERS S.p.A. from July 2020 to August 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing mechanical activities for supercritical boiler implementation and maintenance. Additional experience includes roles as Team Leader at MEGA For Construction & Industries, Senior Piping and Pre-Commissioning Engineer at Orascom Construction, and various engineering positions on significant projects like the South Helwan Supercritical Power Plant and the MOSTTROUD Petroleum Refinery.
