Jennifer Gearhart

Jennifer Gearhart is an experienced education professional, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor for the PACE First Term Experience Course at the University of Maryland Global Campus since July 2023. With a background as an Academic Coach at Smart Horizons Career Online Education since September 2017, Jennifer monitors the progress of over 450 learners in a fully accredited High School Diploma program. Additionally, Jennifer operates as a Private Tutor and Educational Consultant, specializing in GED preparation and test-taking strategies. Previous roles include Scoring Leader and Rater for ETS from June 2014 to June 2018, Online Instructor at Florida Virtual School from March 2008 to June 2012, and GED/ABE Instructor at Marchman Technical Education Center. Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from St. Leo University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McDaniel College.
