Sebastian Lombardo has extensive experience in the technology and biotechnology industries. In 2018, they became Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Smart Immune, a clinical-stage biotechnology company. In 2019, they became a Board Member of DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. Lastly, in 2000, they were Founder and Main Shareholder of Wap Research.

Sebastian Lombardo earned an MBA in Finance and Technology Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management between 1992 and 1996.
