Spencer Wood began their career in 2013 as the Marketing Manager at Active Climbing, where they managed promotions, event marketing, and outside advertising, and increased sales by 40%. Spencer also created and managed specialized multi-media and social networking programs and directed customer correspondence and networks within the organization. In 2014, Wood took on two roles, Executive Account Consultant at Buckhead Business Consulting, Inc. and Quotes & Project Management at Atlanta Electrical Distributors. At Buckhead, they were responsible for new business acquisitions, sales and marketing, and face to face customer compliance. At Atlanta Electrical Distributors, they composed lighting and control quotes for contractors and managed projects and quality correspondence with customers. In 2019, Wood began working as a Contractor / Distributor Sales for Smart Lighting Solutions - Georgia. In this role, they created accountable, trusted, and value-added relationships with Electrical Contractors and Distributors in the Central Georgia/Macon market and developed and maintained relationships with local electrical contractors and distributors promoting lighting and controls products and systems represented by Smart Lighting Solutions.

Spencer Wood attended Georgia Highlands College from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Spencer then attended The University of Georgia from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, with a minor in Marketing.
