Ashley LaGrow

Learning Community Manager & Instructional Designer at SPI Media

Ashley LaGrow has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 as a Program Tutor at TRIO, Upward Bound Program. In 2014, they worked as an Elementary School Tutor until 2019. From 2015 to 2020, they served as a Fourth Grade Teacher at Knoxville CUSD 202 School District. Ashley then worked as a Third Grade Teacher at Bettendorf Community School District from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at SPI Media as a Community Experience Manager, responsible for managing online communities, planning virtual events, and improving courses based on adult learning theories and best practices.

Ashley LaGrow completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Elementary Education from Augustana College from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Western Illinois University, which they attended from 2017 to 2020. Ashley also obtained additional certifications, including a Master Educator certification from the Iowa Department of Education in August 2020 and a Certified Educator - Level 1 certification from Google in September 2019.
