John van der Heijden

John van der Heijden is an experienced process engineer currently working at SMART Photonics since March 2015 and also serves as co-owner of Acupunctuur Dierdonk. From April 2001 to July 2014, John held the position of Senior Process Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, focused on the Wet section of the Equipment & Process Engineering department. Prior to that, John spent over 17 years at Philips, beginning as a research assistant and progressing to roles including R&D Engineer and Process & Yield Engineer for CCD-image sensors. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has furthered education in quality management and Six Sigma methodologies. Additionally, John has completed studies in Mandarin at the Eindhovense Chinese School Hantang.
