Spiros M. has extensive experience in the field of photonics and telecommunications, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at SMART Photonics since January 2021, where responsibilities include identifying use cases for new product introductions and engaging with strategic customers. Previously, Spiros worked as a Principal Scientist at SMART Photonics, focusing on technology roadmapping and aligning research and development efforts with market trends. Prior to this, Spiros held various roles, including Project Manager at Huawei Technologies, where novel photonic technologies for 5G were developed, and Principal Researcher at University College London, emphasizing photonics-enabled communications for 5G. Spiros' early career included lecturer positions and postdoctoral research related to optical communications at multiple academic institutions.
