Imran M. Badshah

Imran M. Badshah has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Imran is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Smart Reporting GmbH since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Software Engineer at the same company starting from April 2017.

Imran also gained valuable experience during an internship and master's thesis at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) from June 2015 to November 2016. Their role involved enhancing Optical Myography (OMG) by exploring various feature extraction sources from the forearm to estimate finger poses using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). This work aimed to enable real-time control of an Active Hand Prosthesis (AHP) and achieved accuracy comparable to existing sensors.
