Joseph Tuitupou

Joseph Tuitupou is an experienced safety and security professional currently serving as a Safety Manager at SMART Safety Group since June 2023. Previously, Joseph held various positions within the 1st Marine Division from September 2009 to August 2022, including Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Program Manager and Operations Security Program Manager. Additional roles include leadership positions such as Platoon Sergeant and Company Gunnery Sergeant at the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and the School of Infantry East. Joseph's military experience also includes serving as a Weapons Marksmanship Instructor and in operational leadership roles at the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Joseph is pursuing a Master of Science in Homeland Security at Trident University International, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Ashford University.
