Calin Fraser

Calin Fraser has extensive experience in the software engineering field. Calin is currently working at SmartSkin Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Lifesize as a Software Development Team Lead from October 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining Lifesize, Calin worked at Serenova where they held multiple roles. Calin started as a Software Engineer in January 2016 and transitioned to a Software Engineer In Test role in July 2016. In this position, they played a crucial role in shifting the Quality Engineering organization from manual to automation testing. Calin also developed automated testing suites using Selenium and Javascript.

In March 2018, Calin was promoted to the role of Software Engineer Team Lead at Serenova, where they gained experience in agile methodologies and took on planning and organizational responsibilities. Calin later became a Senior Software Engineer in August 2019, focusing on RESTful API integrations and working with DSE (Cassandra & Solr).

Calin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in software development, leadership, automation testing, and integration with third-party APIs.

Calin Fraser attended the University of New Brunswick from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Subsequently, Calin Fraser pursued further education at the University of New Brunswick from 2010 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
