Alin Traian Ohota

Alin Traian Ohota has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years. Alin Traian currently serves as the Head of Information Security at SMART VALOR since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Morningstar as an Application Security Architect from May 2021 to February 2022. From August 2018 to May 2021, they held the position of Sr. Manager IT Security at Secureworks. Alin was also associated with zooplus AG as the Head of IT Center of Excellence from July 2017 to July 2018, where they focused on areas such as learning and personal development. Before that, they worked as Sr. Manager Product Center Finance and Sr. SCRUM Master at zooplus AG. Alin Traian has experience as a SCRUM Master - Software Governance at TeamNet and as a Senior Quality Engineer & SCRUM Master at Adobe Systems. In addition, they worked at SIVECO Romania as a Department Test Manager/Project Manager and as a Business Analyst. Prior to this, they held the role of Marketing Refferent at SC PRO AUTO INDUSTRIES SA and Network Administrator at Kessel Romania.

Alin Traian Ohota obtained a Bachelor's degree in Managerial Informatics from Universitatea Româno-Americană din București, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalaureate Certificate in Informatics from Colegiul National Matei Basarab, studying from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Ohota has acquired various certifications throughout their career. These include the Web Application Penetration Tester (eWPT) certification from eLearnSecurity obtained in July 2021, the Penetration Testing: Advanced Web Testing certification from LinkedIn obtained in February 2021, the PCEP - Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification from the Python Institute obtained in March 2020, and the ITIL Foundation certification from PeopleCert obtained in March 2018.
