Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biosciences from the same institution, which they completed in 1995. In 1996, they enrolled in Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2003.
In 2015 and 2016, Maneesha Chhikara pursued a Master's Degree in International Health Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained through The Chevening Scholarship. Throughout their educational journey, they also completed various certifications. In 2004, they obtained a certification in General Course on Intellectual Property (DL-101) from the World Intellectual Property Organization. In 2006, they completed a Course in Principles of Clinical Pharmacology at the National Institutes of Health, followed by the Introduction to the Principles and Practices of Clinical Research (IPPCR) in 2007, also at the National Institutes of Health. In 2013, they obtained certifications in Basics of Health Economics from The World Bank and Health Technology Assessment (MOOC) from The University of Sheffield, ScHARR, UK. Lastly, in 2015, they completed a certification in Measuring and Valuing Health at The University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY College.
