Sushmita Bhargava

Sushmita Bhargava has over 18 years of work experience in various HR roles. Sushmita is currently working as the Senior Director of HR and Capabilities Development at Putnam Associates. In this role, they provide strategic HR direction and spearheads talent management and employee engagement initiatives. Prior to this, they worked at SmartAnalyst for 13 years, where they served as the Head of Human Resources. Sushmita was responsible for driving HR strategy, implementing talent management processes, and running employee engagement programs. Sushmita also held the position of Manager of Content and Training at SmartAnalyst. Before joining SmartAnalyst, Sushmita worked at Airtel as a Group Manager and at Anand Automotive Systems as a Manager of Training.

Sushmita Bhargava completed their primary and secondary education at St. Patrick's High School from 1966 to 1977, obtaining the ICSE degree. Sushmita then pursued further studies and earned a Master of Arts degree in English from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, spanning from 1981 to 1983. Later on, they pursued a doctoral degree in Literature from Doctor Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, which they completed between 1984 and 1989.
