Lance Levy

Lance Levy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, governance, risk management, intellectual property, security, privacy, environmental, social, governance (ESG), and employment law. Serving as General Counsel at SmartBear Software since October 2015, Lance has navigated significant corporate developments, including a strategic investment by Vista Equity Partners in March 2021 and an acquisition by Francisco Partners in May 2017. Previously, Lance held the position of General Counsel at Affinnova, where the company was acquired by Nielsen in October 2014, and at Imagitas, acquired by Pitney Bowes in May 2005. With prior roles at LexisNexis Applied Discovery, PAREXEL, Fay, Flynn & Fay, and Travelers Insurance, Lance has developed a robust legal background that is supported by a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College.
