Noel Murphy

Noel Murphy began their work experience in 2000 as an Application Support Analyst at O2 Ireland. Noel later took on the role of Senior Application Support Analyst and Mediation Specialist, where they provided solutions to complex problems and performed impact analysis for projects. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as an Amdocs Billing Tester at Orange Communications SA CH, writing system test plans and providing additional requirements for testing. In 2008, they joined Intec as a Senior Test Consultant, where they wrote test cases and performed peer reviews. Noel then worked as a Technical Consultant at CSG International from 2010 to 2012, assisting in the identification and analysis of customer technical requirements. From 2013 to 2017, they held various roles at Aspect Software, including Principal Engineer and Sr Principal Engineer, QA, where they wrote test plans and executed manual and automated test cases. Their most recent job was at SmartBear, where they started as a DevOps Engineer in 2018 and was promoted to Senior DevOps Engineer and Lead DevOps Engineer.

Noel Murphy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Carlow from 1994 to 1998.
