Alex Bishop

Alex Bishop has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They began their career as a Finance Assistant at BRG Sports in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Product Management Intern at TE Connectivity- Broadband Network Systems Division. They then joined Pancho's Surf Shop as a Sales Associate in 2015, where they handled retail sales, customer service, and inventory management. During the same year, they also worked at Bay Federal Credit Union as an Indirect Consumer Lending Specialist, responsible for loan evaluation, underwriting, and maintaining loan tracking systems. They later became a Loan Portfolio Analyst at the same company, focusing on data analysis, risk mitigation, and streamlining processes using Microsoft Excel.

In 2016, Alex Bishop joined SmartBiz. SBA loans made easy., initially as a Credit Analyst and gradually grew in responsibility. They became a Senior Credit Analyst in 2017 and then a Credit and Compliance Manager in 2018, overseeing credit and compliance operations. Their work experience demonstrates a strong background in finance, data analysis, risk management, and customer service.

Alex Bishop earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. This educational journey took place from 2011 to 2015.
