Louis daRosa

Louis daRosa has extensive experience in engineering leadership roles. Louis is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at SmartBiz Loans since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ICE Mortgage Technology from September 2020 to August 2021 as the Vice President of Engineering. From March 2020 to September 2020, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Ellie Mae. Louis also served in various roles at Ellie Mae, including Sr. Director of Engineering from April 2018 to March 2020 and Director of Engineering from April 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they worked as the Director of Applications Engineering at MarkMonitor from April 2016 to April 2017. Louis played a crucial role in leading the application engineering teams and overseeing major architectural changes. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at MoneyStream from December 2012 to March 2016. In this role, they led the development of the MoneyStream personal finance management application suite and built a team of over 20 members. Louis also worked at Intuit in various roles, including Senior Engineering Manager at Intuit Financial Services from October 2011 to December 2012 and Senior Engineering Manager at Intuit Websites from September 2010 to October 2011. Louis started their career at Intuit as a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit Customer Manager Online from July 2009 to August 2010, where they led the development of mobile applications.

Louis daRosa attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2000 to 2004, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
