Scott Simontis

Scott Simontis is a Senior Backend Engineer at SmartBiz since July 2022, where responsibilities include maintaining and designing scalable platform services utilizing Kubernetes, AWS, and Python. Previous experience includes a role as a Back End Developer at BoxLock, focusing on serverless solutions and CI/CD processes, and a Software Engineering Consultant position at ImagineX Consulting, developing NodeJS-based microservices. Scott has also served as a Full-stack Developer for Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, migrated SaaS services, and conducted architecture reviews as a Principal Consultant at Intellinet. Additional contributions include co-founding CFSRES Emergency Systems, where a notification system for volunteer firefighters was created, along with earlier roles in software engineering at Applied Information, Inc. and Delcan Technologies.
