Maarja Pehk

Maarja Pehk is an experienced professional in the fields of investor relations and creative industries, currently serving as a Deal Flow Manager at SmartCap since October 2025. As a Co-Founder of kood/Jõhvi since April 2020, Maarja has played a key role in establishing this initiative. Previously, Maarja held the position of Head of Investor Relations and FDI in the UK/Invest in Estonia at EAS - Enterprise Estonia from August 2021 to September 2025 and was the CEO of Latitude59 from August 2018 to September 2021. Additionally, Maarja participated in The Global Hack as a Connected Human in March 2020, facilitating an online hackathon aimed at addressing global challenges during the COVID-19 crisis. Maarja's earlier roles include Programme Manager & Operations at Storytek Creative Hub and COO & Creative Industries Lead at Buildit, along with various management positions at Tallinn Business Incubators and an editorial role at FX magazine. Maarja holds an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King's College London and a BA (Hons) in Music, Media and Event Management from the University of West London.
