Matija Gobec

Matija Gobec has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting in 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at G-Softic until 2010. Matija then joined Execom in 2011, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer until 2015.

In 2015, Matija joined Vega IT Sourcing as a Senior Software Engineer until early 2016.

From 2015 to 2017, they co-founded and worked at SmartCat.io in multiple roles, including Co-Founder & Senior Consultant. During this time, they played a key role in building the company around Apache Cassandra consulting and subsequently pivoted into a data engineering and data science service company.
