Megan Livak

Megan Livak has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Megan is currently serving as the Director of Customer Strategy at SmartCover, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Communications, Outreach, and Partnerships at SmartCover from January 2022 to June 2023.

In 2022, Megan also worked at UNLEASH as a Global Talent, where they participated in a Global Innovation Lab focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Megan specifically addressed SDG 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation by working on a solution for the safe disinfection and disposal of fecal sludge in Nepal.

Prior to that, Megan worked at Van Cleef Engineering Associates as a Coordinator of Marketing & New Business Development from 2009 to 2018. Megan also served as a New Business Development Assistant during that time, where they promoted the company at trade shows, developed marketing materials, and handled donation processes.

In 2009, Megan had an externship opportunity at ESPN, specifically working on the International X-Games. Megan also gained experience as a Community Relations/Fan Development Intern with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2008, where they developed donation programs, community initiatives, and coordinated appearances by alumni and players.

Prior to their professional career, Megan worked in telephone services at Somerset County Government in 2007. Overall, they have a strong background in customer strategy, communications, outreach, partnerships, talent development, marketing, and community relations.

Megan Livak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Lafayette College, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In 2010, they obtained a certification as a Notary Public from the State of New Jersey. In 2020, Megan pursued further education in Business Administration and Management, General at thePower.
