Florian Guenther

Florian Guenther has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Florian is currently working at Smarter Ecommerce (smec) as a Product Owner for Retail Intelligence & Platform, where they are responsible for developing a data platform to collect, map, and publish data from various sources. Prior to this role, Florian worked at Micro Focus for ten years as a Product Owner, primarily focusing on the Silk Central Test Manager tool and various side products. Florian had experience working with distributed teams and collaborating closely with product management and field support. Florian also had experience at Borland as a Product Owner and Principal QA Engineer, and at SEGUE SOFTWARE, INC. as a QA Engineer and Developer.

Florian Guenther pursued their education at Technische Universität Wien from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained their Master's degree in IT & Economics. Before that, from 1993 to 1998, Florian attended HTL Leonding (Polytechnic) and studied IT, Organization, and Economics, but did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Florian obtained a certification in Lightbend Data Engineering: Cloudflow Principles - Level 2 from Lightbend, Inc. in July 2020.
