Ross Bunn has held various positions in the Information Technology field since 2005. Ross began their career at Elite Computers & Consulting as an Information Technology Support Technician, where they troubleshot and maintained networks for local schools and businesses, performed repairs on all Windows and Mac devices, and assisted customers face-to-face and over the phone with all their needs. In 2008, they moved to Best Buy as an In-Store PC Agent/Salesman, where they assisted customers with all technical related needs, assessed and repaired all computer related issues, and accumulated and applied the appropriate knowledge and expertise through continuous learning and self-development. In 2011, they returned to the IT field as a System Administrator at Schrock Innovations, where they lead technical projects involving stakeholders from multiple departments, provided remote support via BeyondTrust to 1,200+ users across 28 locations, and troubleshooted connectivity issues across the company. In 2021, they began working at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games as an Information Technology Manager, where they were responsible for managing Okta, Office 365, Smartsheet, Zoom, and other Games systems, served as a technical liaison with Special Olympics International and other third parties for Games App and website development, and assisted in QA testing of Games App software releases and features. Most recently, in 2022, Ross began working at SecureNet Technologies as a Product Lead, where they act as a liaison between the business and software development teams to ensure tight collaboration and alignment, works directly with leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams to gain an understanding of business needs and how they translate to feature requests, and translates business requirements into product specifications and work items.
Ross Bunn obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology - Networking from Southeast Community College between 2009 and 2012. Ross also holds two certifications from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained in November 2022 and a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) obtained in February 2021.
