Nicola Menzies

Nicola Menzies has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Nicola is currently the Director of People at Smarter Grid Solutions, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Manager for the same company from December 2020 to July 2023.

Before joining Smarter Grid Solutions, Nicola worked as an HR Manager at Kongsberg Maritime from April 2019 to July 2020. Nicola also held various roles at Rolls-Royce, including HR Manager from May 2013 to March 2019 and HR Business Partner from April 2010 to May 2013.

Nicola's career in HR started at Babcock International Group, where they worked as an HR Business Partner from January 2008 to March 2010. Nicola also gained experience as an HR Consultant at ScottishPower from March 2004 to January 2008.

Throughout their career, Nicola has consistently taken on roles with increasing responsibilities, showcasing their expertise in human resources management and business partnership.

Nicola Menzies pursued their education at the Robert Gordon University from 1997 to 2001. During this period, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Nicola went on to enroll at the University of Strathclyde from 2001 to 2003. Nicola completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management, deepening their expertise in this field.
