Stuart McGhie

Stuart McGhie has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Stuart began their career as a Trainee CA at Hardie Caldwell, where they gained experience in management accounts preparation, statutory accounts production, and audit. Stuart then worked as an Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers, focusing on private equity, hedge funds, and private banks. At Craig Corporate, Stuart served as an Assistant Director, specializing in business management, corporate finance, and working with SMEs and private equity-backed businesses. Stuart also built a network in Scottish funding circles and honed their skills as an Excel financial modeler. Stuart furthered their expertise as a Finance Manager at Texas Instruments, leading a team to achieve significant cost reductions and improve the site's quality and delivery metrics. Stuart served as a Finance Director at Houseology and later at Smarter Grid Solutions. Stuart's most recent role is as CFO at Smarter Grid Solutions, where they currently work. Stuart McGhie completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree (1st class honors) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde.
