Prior to that, they held positions as a Sr Air Freight Operations at A.P. Moller - Maersk starting in January 2022 and as an Exports Supervisor APAC-EMEA and The Americas at Marken since August 2021. HECTOR also worked as an Export Lead Coordinator at Marken from March 2018. In addition, they have experience in Air Freight Import & Export Operations at EFL from September 2022 to March 2023. Before entering the logistics industry, they worked as a Consultant Lawyer at LOS ILUSTRES CENTRO MEDICO C.A. from 2005 to 2014.

HECTOR also obtained a Master's degree in International Maritime Law with a specialization in International Maritime Commerce from Vargas Venezuela Jobs between 2002 and 2004.
