Scott Fleming is a math-minded machine learning enthusiast and current Manager of Machine Learning Research at SmarterDx. Previously, Scott directed AI initiatives at the Stanford Center for Precision Mental Health and Wellness and held positions at Verily and Apple as a research intern. Scott completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University School of Medicine, along with an M.S. in Computer Science specializing in Artificial Intelligence. With a strong focus on healthcare applications, Scott has developed algorithms to enhance patient care and received the Garth L. Lee Undergraduate Teaching Award during an earlier teaching role at Brigham Young University.
