Matt Tyner

Matt Tyner is currently the Vice President of Finance & Operations at SmarterHQ. Matt has been with SmarterHQ since January 2012, and in their current role, they are responsible for all financial and operating functions, including but not limited to: financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, governance, operations, human resources, facilities and IT. Matt successfully raised funding from angel/seed through Series C-3 January 2020 and was involved in all board-level strategy and decision-making processes. Matt also led all budgeting, financial modeling and forecasting activities. Prior to their current role, Matt served as Staff Accountant at Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski from October 2010 to December 2011. Matt began their career at Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski as an Audit Intern from June 2009 to August 2009.

Matt Tyner has a graduate certificate in business analytics from Indiana University Bloomington, an MBA in financial analysis from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and a BS in accounting and finance from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

They work with Kara Holthaus - VP of Client Services, Jack Kusner - VP of Sales, and Kristen Hamerstadt - VP of Marketing. Matt Tyner reports to Michael Osborne, President, Chief Executive Officer.
