Tyler Dumont

Tyler Dumont is a Technical Advisor at SmarterTravel since December 2023 and has held the same position at Momentum Commerce since August 2021, also serving as Principal Software Architect there. Prior to this, Tyler was an Independent Software Consultant from May to August 2021 and worked as a Principal Software Architect at EverQuote from January 2017 to April 2021, where major contributions included architecting cross-team initiatives and developing a next-generation data platform utilizing Snowflake, DBT, and AtScale. Tyler's career also includes roles as VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Software Engineer at Cogo Labs from March 2007 to January 2017, and as a Software Developer at CodeLab Technology Group. Early career experience includes a position as Project Engineer at Dumont Associates, Inc., and an IT internship at State Street Global Advisors. Tyler holds an MM in Music Theory from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA in Information Systems/Music from Susquehanna University.
