Pedro Fernandes

Pedro Fernandes is currently the Head of Machine Learning Engineering at Smartex.ai, with previous experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, Pedro worked as an Engineering Intern at Procter & Gamble, where Pedro developed an inline vision system for quality inspection and a python-sql tool for data manipulation and visualization. Pedro also has experience as a Junior Engineer at JuniFEUP and as a Summer Engineering Intern at CEiiA, where Pedro contributed to the development of a 2 vehicle system for marine search and rescue. Pedro holds a Mestrado degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, with an Erasmus + in Maschinenbau from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
