Maciej Prostak has worked in the finance industry since 2004. Maciej began their career as a Sales Manager at Phinance S.A. and was later promoted to Branch Director and Regional Branch Director. In 2007, they moved to Citi as an Investment Banker. In 2008, they founded Direct Capital Group S.A., where they served as CEO. In 2012, they founded MoneyZoom S.A., where they served as CEO until it was acquired by PMPG in 2014. In 2015, they joined HotelOnline as Vice President Operations for Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Senegal and Norway. In 2017, HotelOnline was the result of the merger between Savanna Sunrise and HotelOga, which Prostak had founded and served as COO. In 2019, they founded SmartHotel and serves as CEO.
Maciej Prostak obtained their M.A in Economics, Banking & Finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics between 2001 and 2008.
