João Pires

João Pires is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at smartKYC since August 2021, João specializes in Java technologies and has introduced agile methodologies and automated deployment processes. Prior to this role, João was a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Feedzai, where responsibilities included managing client project clusters, team coaching, and process improvement, using the Scrumban framework. João's earlier career involved software engineering roles at WITHUS Telecommunication Developments and PT Inovação - Altice Labs, focusing on telecommunications projects.
