Clement Fourny

Clement Fourny has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Clement began their career as an Administrative Assistant at the General Consulate of France in NYC in 2001. Clement then worked as an Official Representative at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations later that year.

In 2002, Fourny became a Project Manager Assistant at Ogilvy Canaveral, an operational brand marketing agency. Clement managed a design team and supervised marketing campaigns during their time there.

Fourny then joined Brasseries Kronenbourg (Carlsberg Group) as a Sales Representative in mass distribution outlets for a brief period in 2004. Clement subsequently worked as an Assistant Auditor at Ernst & Young from September 2004 to January 2005.

In 2005, Fourny joined BNP Paribas Corporate Finance as a Junior Analyst. Clement conducted company valuations and contributed to client presentations and sector studies.

From 2006 to 2010, Fourny worked for General Electric (GE) in various roles. Clement participated in the Financial Management Program (FMP) in the GE Energy/Oil & Gas division and later became an Associate Auditor in the GE Corporate Audit Staff (CAS).

In 2010, Fourny transitioned to GE Healthcare Life Sciences, now known as Cytiva, where they held several positions. Clement served as a Commercial Finance Manager/Regional Finance Manager for the GEHC Diagnostic & Clinical Services (DCS) division, responsible for covering bioprocess operations in the US/Canada. Clement then became a Global Finance Manager for bioprocess enterprise solutions and bioprocess upstream, as well as a Global Account Executive for a top-10 global biopharmaceutical company.

Since 2020, Fourny has been working as the General Manager of Commercial Strategy and Operations at Cytiva. In this role, they lead a global team and oversees building best-in-class commercial processes and driving company-wide initiatives for profitable growth.

Starting in 2023, Fourny will be transitioning to SmartLabs, where they will serve as the SVP of Commercial.

Throughout their career, Fourny has gained extensive experience in finance, auditing, project management, and commercial strategy within the healthcare, life sciences, and marketing industries.

Clement Fourny has a diverse educational background. In 1999, they started their academic journey at Sciences Po where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Economics. After completing their degree in 2003, Clement then joined ESCP Business School to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance.

In 2006, Clement took part in a spring semester exchange program at the Texas McCombs School of Business, where they focused on Management. Additionally, they participated in a full-year exchange program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2000-2001, studying American Studies.

Overall, Clement's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Economics from Sciences Po, a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from ESCP Business School, and exchange programs at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Texas McCombs School of Business.
