George Zemke

George Zemke is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at SMART Modular Technologies since March 2020, George oversees engineering projects and personnel. Prior to this role, George was the Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Artesyn Embedded Technologies from September 2007 to July 2021, where responsibilities included project management, system concepting, and thermodynamic engineering. Earlier in George's career, a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Cisco Systems involved thermal concepting, design, simulation, and validation. George holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
