Antonio Mugica is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and technology. Currently serving as the Strategic Advisor to the Program on Democracy & Technology at the University of Oxford since June 2022, Antonio also holds the position of Chairman at SGO and is the Founder of Folio.ID, both roles maintained since November 2014 and January 2020, respectively. Additionally, Antonio is the Executive Chairman of AirScape and a Board Member of Feeld. Since April 2000, Antonio has been the CEO of Smartmatic, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the technology sector. Prior to these roles, Antonio was the Executive Vice President at Panagroup from January 1997 to December 1999. Antonio holds an engineering degree in Electronics/Robotics from Universidad Simón Bolívar, obtained between 1992 and 1996.
