Eduardo Correia

Eduardo Correia is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the electoral solutions sector. Since March 2004, Eduardo has held various executive positions at Smartmatic, including Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of the Electoral Solutions Business Unit, Vice President of Program Management, and Chief Software Architect. Additionally, Eduardo serves as Chairman of the Board for Smartmatic-Cybernetica C.O.E for Internet Voting since July 2019. Prior to Smartmatic, Eduardo worked as CTO at Bizta Corporation from January 2000 to March 2004 and as a Systems Administrator at Laboratorio BWL Universidad Simón Bolívar from August 1998 to December 1999. Eduardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, completed between 1993 and 1998, and received foundational education at Instituto Escuela from 1983 to 1992.
