Chiel Labee

Chiel Labee has a range of work experience spanning over two decades. Chiel started their career as a Software Consultant at ISD Benelux in 1997. Chiel then worked as a Software Developer at Van Walraven in 2001 before moving on to VisionWaves as a Software Architect in 2002. At VisionWaves, Chiel designed and implemented a new system architecture and framework for an enterprise management system. In 2007, they became a Software Architect at CTS before returning to VisionWaves as their Chief Technology Officer in 2008. Chiel played a key role in the development of their management software product called Delta. In 2015, Chiel joined AudioNova International as the Head of Software Development, where they worked on creating a new Shop/ERP system using Microsoft Azure Cloud capabilities. Chiel'snext role was at cegeka-dsa in 2015 as a Software Architect before finally becoming the Chief Technology Officer at SmartMed in 2016. At SmartMed, Chiel focused on integrating, improving production and logistics of drugs and medical professionals' prescription and dispensing of medication to patients using modern cloud solutions.

Chiel Labee obtained a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Amsterdam between 2010 and 2012. Additionally, Chiel Labee has a certification in English as a foreign language from the University of Oxford, obtained in 1998.
