David Gray

David Gray is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and management across various industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at smartmicro since May 2023, David previously held the role of Vice President of Operations at Entertainment Retail Enterprises, LLC, where sales grew from $43MM to $68MM under his leadership. His career at Amazon spanned nearly a decade, progressing from Operations Manager to General Manager, overseeing large teams and ensuring safety and performance in fulfillment operations. Prior military experience includes serving as Executive Officer in the US Navy at CJTF-Horn of Africa and as a Surface Warfare Officer, managing personnel and significant weapon systems. David holds an MBA in Finance and Operations and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
