Yasushi Kobori

Yasushi Kobori currently serves as Director of Public Policy in the CEO's office at SmartNews since December 2021 and holds the position of Visiting Lecturer at 中央大学 since April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Digital Trade Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan from October 2020 to November 2021, and Head of Public Policy for Facebook in Japan from February 2019 to November 2021. Additionally, Yasushi Kobori has held several director-level positions at Fujitsu from April 2009 to January 2019, including roles focused on public business creation and policy. Earlier career experience includes research at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and consulting at Fujitsu Research Institute. Yasushi Kobori earned an M.B.A. from Keio University.
