Metin Turkay

Metin Turkay is the founder of SmartOpt since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Professor at Koc University starting from September 2000. From 1997 to 2000, they served as a Principal Consultant at Mitsubishi Corporation. Metin also gained experience as a TA & RA at Carnegie Mellon University from August 1993 to December 1996.

Metin Turkay received their Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) between 1985 and 1992. Metin then went on to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1996.
