Angelika Schaefer

Angelika Schaefer has extensive experience in the field of HR and organizational development. Angelika is currently working as the Head of People at smartpatient. Prior to that, they held various roles at Wirecard, including Team Lead Organizational Development, Senior Manager Learning & Development, and Manager Training & Development. Before joining Wirecard, Angelika worked as an HR Specialist in Recruiting & Development at Alnatura Produktions- Und Handels GmbH. Angelika also gained experience at The Boston Consulting Group as an HR Specialist in Performance Management & Staffing. Angelika started their career at Infineon Technologies, where they worked as an HR Coordinator in International Staffing & Internship and later as an HR Coordinator at the Infineon Institute.

Angelika Schaefer received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management and Bildungs- und Kompetenzmanagement from Steinbeis Hochschule. Angelika attended the institution from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a degree in Coach und Supervisor (ISC) at Institut für Supervision und Coaching in Nürnberg. In the earlier years of their education, from 2000 to 2005, they studied Psycholinguistik and Psychologie at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, earning an M.A. degree.
