Lauren Grummert

Lauren Grummert has over 12 years of work experience. Lauren started their career at AIG in 2008 as a Sales and Marketing Internship. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at Spelman College. From 2012 to 2017, they held various roles at NORC at the University of Chicago, Nielsen, Topix, Chegg Inc., and Thinkful. In 2017, they joined smartQED as a Lead Data Scientist & Machine Learning Developer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Data Scientist- Responsible AI Program Manager, Mixed Reality.

Lauren Grummert received their Master's Degree in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (Applied Statistical Methods) from Columbia University in 2012. Lauren obtained their B.A in Economics from Spelman College in 2010. In 2016, they earned a Certificate in Data Science from General Assembly.
