Deepak Balan

Deepak Balan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Deepak is currently the Head of Product at SmartRecruiters, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Indeed Flex (formerly Syft) as a Product professional from October 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they served as the Director of Product Management at HelloFresh from April 2018 to September 2020. Deepak also has experience as a Founder/Advisor and Founder/Head in various roles at Hotel Malji Ka Kamra, where they focused on sales, customer experience, marketing, and partnerships. Deepak started their career at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, where they worked as a Global Product Manager and in Business Development roles. Deepak also gained experience as an MBA Intern at Sterling Commerce and as a Technical Associate at TechMahindra.

Deepak Balan earned an MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, between 2001 and 2005. Deepak completed their high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1996 to 2000.
