Teal Anderson, MBA

Teal Anderson, MBA has worked in the Human Resources and Healthcare fields for the past seven years. In 2015, they began their career as the Director of Nutrition Services for Avalon Health Care Group, where they managed, hired, and recruited staff members, as well as managed labor hours and budgets. Teal also worked as a Dietary Assistant Director, writing care plans and doing food preferences. In 2019, they moved to Steward Health Care as a Health Services Coordinator, helping residents get the resources they need. In 2021, they began working for Acima as a Human Resource Generalist, managing HR emails, overseeing the weekly new hire check-in process, and providing consultation, guidance, coaching, and support to Acima managers. Teal also worked as a Human Resources Generalist for Cedar Psychiatry by Novamind, creating Human Resources Policies and Processes, writing a policy for an Employee Handbook, and recruiting and hiring 30 people in 5 months. Currently, they are the Head of Talent for SmartScout, creating the HR program for a new start up company, leading all the recruiting and hiring processes, and leading and managing all things culture.

Teal Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Utah University, which was completed in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Nutrition from the same university in 2015.
