David Steck is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and application development. They held various influential roles at Schnuck Markets, Inc. from 2017 until their retirement in May 2025, culminating as VP - IT Infrastructure and Application Development. Prior to this, David contributed to Express Scripts from 2005 to 2008 as a director, overseeing significant IT initiatives and budget management. Earlier in their career, they managed critical projects at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri, including a successful $28M disaster recovery project completed ahead of schedule and under budget. David is currently the president and founder of Steck Consulting, LLC and serves on advisory boards for SmartSense by Digi and Groceryshop, among other roles. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University in 1986.
